News from the world of David Iseminger

David is currently at work on a number of projects, both volunteer and professional, including running for the School Board for his local school district, Lake Stevens.

"It's important to be active in your local community, and involvement should begin where your passion is greatest. For me, that means getting involved in education, and ensuring we're doing everything possible to prepare our kids for a bright and well-rounded future. That includes recognizing what we're doing well, understanding where we can do better, and working together to become the strongest school district in the state."

David is a product of public schools, and recognizes that improving the future requires action today. He believes that personally, professionally, and for the community.

David is constantly reading, whether it's nonfiction reference, philosophy, or bestselling fiction. It's a reflection of his belief in lifelong learning; the better a person is prepared for lifelong learning, the more success they'll find in whatever they pursue.

Novels are painted on the canvas of relationships, textured with clouded circumstances, colored with details from the characters' lives.

To bring a novel to life, those details must be thoroughly researched. Then they must be felt, breathed, vetted.

For the novelist, the process is a labor of love.
